NOTICE OF AUCTION OF SURPLUS SUPPLY
The Salem and Beverly Water Supply Board (the “Board”) has declared for sale surplus supply of a 2006 John Deere 672D Motor Grader with plowing attachments, title, and operation, service, and parts manuals.
Interested parties must participate in an on-line auction. All bids and purchasing must be completed through Auctions International, Inc., 11167 Big Tree Road, East Aurora, NY 14052 – phone 1-800-536-1401. The surplus supplies will be available for physical inspection by appointment only at 50 Arlington Avenue, Beverly, MA 01915. To schedule an appointment contact Alan F. Taubert, Jr at 978-922-2600.

The auction will start on Thursday, December 9, 2021, and end on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

The surplus supply item will be awarded to the responsive bidder offering the highest price. Auctions International, Inc. will charge the successful bidder an 8% buyer’s premium. Payment shall be made to Auctions International, Inc. Payment methods accepted include certified check, wire transfer, direct deposit, ACH, cash (at the East Aurora, NY office), and credit/debit cards (additional 4% fee). The winning bidder shall contact Alan F. Taubert, Jr. at (978) 922-2600 to arrange for pickup of the motor grader at 50 Arlington Avenue, Beverly, MA 01915 no later than February 3, 2022.

The Board reserves the right to reject, any and all, bids. In addition, the Board reserves the right to reject bids and to dispose of the surplus supply item through a negotiated sale, provided that the negotiated sale price is higher than the highest bid received from a responsive bidder.

Once the bid is submitted and received by the owner for consideration and comparison with other bids similarly submitted, the bidder agrees that it may not and will not withdraw it within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the close of the auction.

All bidders must submit a signed Board Non-Collusion Form with the bid.
